THE SECRET WEAPON OF CERAMIC STUDIOS
There's nothing better than achieving a gloss without transparent glazing! Wondering how this is possible with underglaze? It's the hybrid Café Color Gloss! It's the perfect solution for pottery painting studios, where children dream of a glossy finish for their creations.
BASIC OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The Café Color Gloss series was designed specifically for beginners, but that doesn't mean a professional artist can't make their life easier and skip the clear glaze. :)
- Apply paints to bisque (not raw clay).
- Build color – apply one, two, or three coats for the perfect effect!
- Allow each coat to dry to achieve a perfect finish.
- No troublesome color bleeding – feel free to combine colors side by side.
- Use straight from the bottle or test your skills by applying the paint with a sponge.
- Create your own unique shade – all colors can be freely mixed.
- If the entire surface of the vessel is covered with paints, then according to the manufacturer it can be functional.
- Compatible with Chrysanthos series: Underglaze and One Stroke - remember, however, that in the case of their use, for functional ware, the manufacturer recommends covering the entire item with transparent glaze (food safe);
All Café Color Gloss are fired in the range from Cone 06 (999°C) to Cone 04 (1060°C).
The color shown in the picture is for reference only; reproduction depends on monitor settings or the printer used. The color and effect of the paint are influenced by the clay body used, glaze, firing temperature, and kiln atmosphere.
