Product description

OVAL Carbide Trimming Tool

  • blade material: cemented carbide
  • blade size ~40×30 mm, larger radius 1 = ~12 mm, smaller radius = ~2 mm
  • the length of the handle is approximately 150 mm

Tools made of tungsten carbide last a very long time due to their hardness. These tools are very sharp and stay sharp for a long time.

Of course, you can sharpen it occasionally with a diamond file. We recommend 600-grit. But this certainly won't be necessary for months, or in some cases, years.
We have equipped these tools with a flat, rounded handle so they fit comfortably in your hand.

Be careful with these blades. They're really hard, and that's why they can break if you drop them. Make sure you keep them in a safe place, in a place that won't let them fall. When rolling, keep your hand steady and grip the tool firmly, but be gentle, and make sure the clay is dry enough. Once you start using them, you'll find the best conditions for trimming.

These tools differ from our Captain Hook edging tools. They are machine-made and designed for more advanced users, lasting significantly longer. Our Captain Hook blades are handmade, blacksmith-style, made of hardened stainless steel, and, as we already know, can be used by anyone.

Biroscope is a Polish tool for high-quality ceramics!

Complaints and returns

Pursuant to Article 9 of Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on consumer rights, consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days. Detailed rules are set out in the Ceramiq.pro Store Terms and Conditions.

Shipping costs

The cost of packaging and delivery depends on the type and weight of the products ordered.

To find out the price, complete your order and visit the shopping cart page. Below the product list, you'll see a list of available options and a summary of shipping costs.

If the total weight of the ordered items exceeds the weight limit for the selected shipping method, we will pack the order into two or more boxes. The shipping cost shown in the shopping cart always applies to the entire order and is independent of the number of packages.

Please remember that heavy parcels weighing over 30 kg are delivered to the building door and the courier is not obliged to carry them up the stairs.

The shipping price calculation system takes into account, among other things, the need for additional protection for goods that are easily damaged during transport. This applies especially to plaster molds, kiln shelves, liquid castables, etc. We pack shipments with the utmost care to ensure your ordered goods arrive intact.
