Mayco Stroke&Coat Glaze
Mayco's Stroke & Coat is a line of efficient glazes with an extremely wide color palette,
spectrum of application and range of firing temperatures and application methods.
Mayco's Stroke & Coat are glazes that have a wide range of
over a hundred single-color and striking colors.
Stroke & Coat® can be the star or a supporting role in endless glaze combinations. It's the ideal product for studios, schools, potters, and artists.
These glazes retain their character when fired at both low and high temperatures.
The standard firing temperature range for Stroke & Coat is 1000-1240°C.
However, many colours of these glazes can be fired above 1240 °C.
Information on the thermal resistance of individual glazes has been communicated
on the packaging label.
We recommend testing at your preferred firing temperature before use.
Firing can take place in aerobic or anaerobic conditions (so-called reduction).
Mayco's Stroke & Coat can be applied to both wet leathery clay and bisque.
These glazes can be applied with a brush, sponge or stamp.
The Stroke & Coat product can also be used in screen printing.
Applying one layer of enamel creates a transparent effect.
Mayco's Stroke & Coat can be used as a paint, achieving this effect with delicate brushstrokes and a thin application. Various painting techniques can be used.
The covering effect is achieved by applying three layers of enamel.
Mayco's Stroke & Coat does not require glazing,
however, it can be covered with a transparent glaze for greater shine.
Glaze should also be used if the vessel has not been coated with a thick layer.
We recommend leaving an area unglazed, such as the bottom or back, to allow for degassing during firing.
Mayco's Stroke & Coat glazes are certified non-toxic,
are safe for contact with food after firing.
The colours visible on the monitor screen may differ from the actual colours of the glaze, as the colour perception is influenced by many factors, such as: the type of glazed substrate, glazing technique, firing environment, lighting, and monitor settings.

The cost of packaging and delivery depends on the type and weight of the products ordered.
To find out the price, complete your order and go to the cart page. Below the list of products, you will see a list of available options and a summary of shipping costs.
Standard delivery service does not include carrying in or unpacking the shipment. The maximum weight of 1 order cannot exceed 30 kg (weight with packaging). Orders consisting of products, none of which are heavier than 30 kg, are sent in one package (shipment). If you are interested in purchasing a larger quantity of goods, please place several separate orders.
Some forms of delivery or payment may be unavailable for selected products or countries, due to restrictions introduced by carriers.
Important! If you receive a message that we do not deliver to your country (Europe), make sure that the weight of a single order - 30 kg - has not been exceeded.
Shipping Notice:
For safety reasons, plaster molds are shipped individually. We do not
combine multiple molds in one order, as we cannot guarantee they will
arrive intact. This helps minimize the risk of damage during transport.
