Product description
CHRYSANTHOS STONEWARE GLAZE – BLUE
- liquid glaze;
- semi-transparent, glossy, smooth;
- blue color;
- firing temperature: 1222 - 1305°C;
- 140 ml package;
Stoneware artists – rejoice! These glazes will provide vibrant colors and a glossy finish in all their lead-free and non-toxic glory.
Three coats – applied "criss-cross" at right angles – and you're all set. Do streaks bother you a little (we perfectly understand)? Grab a soft glazing brush and go wild.
A rarity! You won't find many series like this – these are monochromatic glazes that fire up to 1305°C!
BASIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Apply in layers – two or three coats for a perfect effect!
- Allow each layer to dry to achieve a perfect result.
- Cover the piece from top to bottom and fire correctly to achieve a food-safe surface, according to the manufacturer's information.
- Love the blending of colors – colors that touch each other will overlap picturesquely.
- Use straight from the bottle and test your skills by applying the glaze with a sponge or diluting it with water for airbrush painting.
- Create your own unique shade – all colors can be freely mixed.
All Stoneware Glazes fire in the range from Cone 6 (1222°C) to Cone 10 (1305°C).
The color shown in the picture is for reference only; the rendition depends on monitor settings or the printer used. The color and effect of the glaze are influenced by the clay body, glaze, firing temperature, and kiln atmosphere.
