Product description
SiO-2 LUNA Clay - speckled stoneware
LUNA Clay is a speckled stoneware clay with an imperceptible fireclay, 0-0.2 mm granularity, created for artistic ceramics. It contains melting minerals that create a seductive surface with dark spots of varying sizes and shades, subtly standing out against the elegant ivory color. The high fireclay content ensures stability and safety during drying and firing, making LUNA Clay an ideal choice for both professionals and ceramic enthusiasts. Decoration with transparent glazes further enhances the speckled effect, giving your works a unique character.
To ensure durability and avoid chipping, which can occur as natural minerals absorb moisture, we recommend bisque firing at 1050-1080ºC (Cone 04) and extending the hold time. This allows the minerals to bond perfectly, ensuring LUNA Clay remains moisture-resistant and maintains its beautiful, authentic surface.
For those who prefer a single firing, good news! LUNA is also perfect for this process. The high firing temperature completely fuses the minerals, eliminating the risk of chipping, and your work will maintain its beautiful surface without any surprises.

Shipping costs
The cost of packaging and delivery depends on the type and weight of the products ordered.
To find out the price, complete your order and visit the shopping cart page. Below the product list, you'll see a list of available options and a summary of shipping costs.
If the total weight of the ordered items exceeds the weight limit for the selected shipping method, we will pack the order into two or more boxes. The shipping cost shown in the shopping cart always applies to the entire order and is independent of the number of packages.
Please remember that heavy parcels weighing over 30 kg are delivered to the building door and the courier is not obliged to carry them up the stairs.
The shipping price calculation system takes into account, among other things, the need for additional protection for goods that are easily damaged during transport. This applies especially to plaster molds, kiln shelves, liquid castables, etc. We pack shipments with the utmost care to ensure your ordered goods arrive intact.
