Supernova Glaze offers cosmic-level beauty with crystalline magic that evolves with every firing – crystals will look different in a regular firing compared to a controlled process.

Use it on flat or vertical surfaces and watch the crystals bloom into mesmerizing patterns. Yes, the glaze may craze (crackle), but that's just a signal from your creation that it was made for admiration, not for serving soup.

This is not a typical crystalline glaze – you won't find any crystals in the jar itself! All the magic happens inside the kiln, where they form thanks to the crazy field of chemistry.

Experiment with different cooling times to see how the crystals take on various shapes and forms. No two firings will ever be the same!

BASIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• Supernova Glazes have a strong tendency to run, so we recommend leaving a 3 cm margin between the bottom of the piece and the glaze layer to protect kiln shelves. You can even paint this gap with white underglaze (Chrysanthos Underglaze) or Chrysanthos One Stroke to minimize running.
• Apply in layers – three to four coats to unlock the best effect!
• Do not shorten the drying time between layers.
• Embrace the blend of colors – colors that touch will beautifully overlap.
• Do not mix them directly together (they are shy).
• For decorative purposes only – product not intended for food contact.

All Supernova Glaze series fire in the range from Cone 4 (1186°C) to Cone 8 (1263°C).
